TJM Studios Make the Move from 2D to 3D With the AEC Collection

As jobs become more complex and demanding, clients expect more capabilities in a smaller amount of time. 2D drawings in Autodesk AutoCAD aren't cutting it in the marketplace. "Accelerated production processes, increasing expectations, economic shifts, and disruptive technologies are putting new demands on our team," said Tom McCleister, president of TJM Studios.

TJM Studios needed to keep up with the demand of their customers, providing more 3D design tools and the ability to transition between Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for different projects.

Solution

"We needed to standardize our workflow around Autodesk Revit instead of Autodesk AutoCAD to keep up with the ever-growing demands of our clients," said Tom, "Motion Media suggested we subscribe to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Collection which includes Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, and many other tools. We agreed, and moved ahead with the Autodesk AEC Collection."
