OMENS STUDIOS is an award-winning animation studio built for the digital age and specialized in Animated Series, Short films, Visual Special Effects, and commercial work for clients across all industries internationally. With a diversely large number of employees to handle, they had to keep track of daily and weekly updates on a task-by-task basis. They were facing a tricky challenge on tracing “Retakes” or “Kickback” when a completed Task from Shot reviews needs to be revised due to a request further down the pipeline. This area was crucial to be addressed as it was affecting multiple departments. In addition to that, they also needed to track the output in terms of completion rate, retakes and time spent by their coordinators along with the indirect costs of management while dealing with their outsourcing vendors.

We’ve introduced Autodesk ShotGrid and addressed their concerns by sharing different workflows of daily/weekly output per staff, dived deeper on retakes rate and time spent each task per staff along with the overview of staff allocation on their projects and tasks.

They've created custom fields to score artist/staff on specific area and able to create a global report to track daily for all artist easily.
