SUCCESS STORY
LPA Creates a Space for Living Research on Hybrid Workplace
Customer Challenge
LPA, Inc. wanted to create a new concept in address-free office space in a smaller footprint that facilitated the uncharted and changing needs of work from home. The constraints of lockdown were in place so collaboration and virtualization were things that LPA was unprepared to face going into the project.
Project Goals
LPA needed rapid project turnaround with the least disruption to staff possible. This was LPA's own working office, so they needed to be efficient and minimize the impact on staff. LPA wanted to create a model for their clients to benefit from as well as a working research lab for themselves to inhabit. They needed to comply with the COVID restrictions for work from home while delivering a state of the art remodel for themselves.
Solution
The Autodesk BIM 360 platform and Collaborate were extremely important in design and communication in order to be able to complete the project successfully.
Business Outcome
The project was delivered on time and within budget. The stakeholders understood the project at each phase and were able to communicate quickly and accurately keeping time and costs in check.
Conclusion
The window during which this project was undertaken was unprecedented in demands and constraints. For LPA to complete this project without the Autodesk tools they used, it would have taken more time as well as cost more.
