Da qui l’esigenza di creare, per clienti e stakeholders, prototipi estremamente realistici in ambienti virtuali ad altissima definizione, in grado di mostrare l’unicità e la qualità degli ombrelloni.
FIM capì di dover offrire soluzioni personalizzate con un’identità ed uno stile unici, grazie al carattere distintivo dell’azienda di immaginare, anticipare ed interpretare lo spazio concettuale del progetto.
L’interesse di FIM si concentrò sulla creazione di prototipi digitale per scopi commerciali (e-commerce) e marketing.
L’ufficio CAD di FIM si avvalse del supporto di Inventor per creare modelli CAD parametrici e neutri da inserire in ambito BIM (RFA e STEP). L'ufficio Visualization & Rendering invece, si affidò ad Autodesk VRED, software di visualizzazione 3D, per generare immagini e modelli fotorealistici da utilizzare su diverse piattaforme di rendering (FBX).
FIM realizzò, con l’aiuto di Autodesk VRED, prototipi virtuali in grado di interagire realisticamente con l’ambiente virtuale, e sperimentò nuove tecniche, in grado di ipotizzare il comportamento di un prototipo in un certo contesto.
L’impatto visivo dei prototipi virtuali, realizzati con Autodesk VRED e Inventor, fu per FIM, un potentissimo strumento di comunicazione di prodotto, in grado di mostrare agli interlocutori, un’idea di quello che sarebbe stato il comportamento di un reale prodotto fisico, in un determinato contesto.
Grazie a Autodesk VRED, Inventor e alla consulenza dei professionisti QS, FIM riuscì a inserire i suoi ombrelloni in ambienti esterni in cui spazio e materia si fondono armonicamente, migliorare la qualità delle presentazioni dei prodotti, verificare la funzionalità - garantendo sempre la massima ergonomicità ed eleganza dei suoi ombrelloni - e simulare realisticamente, l’illuminazione dello spazio e l’interazione con gli oggetti.
