Circle Studio is a production company specialized in CG animation. Their Avium Origin animation required them to produce high quality output for the production. In order to achieve their customer's expectations, Circle Studio needed a better software solution for creating the characters. Our team at Progressive Computer Systems supported them with using Autodesk solutions for producing the animations.
The key goals of Circle Studio were to find a software solution that allows them to:
1. Produce unique levels of creativity and quality in animation production.
2. Portray Avium Origin characters in a stylized painted visual manner while projecting a human action that would bring them to life.
3. Produce unique visual story telling.
We introduced Circle Studio to Autodesk Maya’s features and its toolsets. For asset building, the team utilized Maya’s intuitive modelling tool, while creating animation with the animation tools available. As for the rendering process, they used the Unreal Live Link which allows them to see the result instantly in Unreal while working in Maya.
Throughout this project, Circle Studio managed to achieve high-quality 3D animation production produced by Malaysia talents and make a real-life animation with Autodesk solutions. The business outcomes were successfully delivered to their customers and created good awareness for Avium Origin animation.
Autodesk solutions (Maya) have become a catalyser for the Circle Studio production team that achieved 3D animation of “Tencent”- quality for Avium Origin. This trailer in web3 widely created a wow-factor to our potential investors and community. The main key leaning with the Autodesk experience on this project allowed the team to create a different workflow and pipeline with Live Link between Maya and Unreal.

TSYR Industries Sdn Bhd research shows that Autodesk BIM 360 Collaborate Pro is new to Malaysia Local Industry. Not many expertise know how to manage and operate especially when come into real time project implementation. Especially the workflow of integration.
BIM Makes Effective Coordination
With a recent project with BIM requirement at construction stage, we are caught and were new to Building Information Modelling concept. Project principals requires the use of BIM tools for coordination purposes. It was a situation we have not anticipated before. Over the years, our design team are only using Autodesk AutoCAD for design and documentation. Autodesk 3DS Max for video walk-through with our customers. In BIM, different technology tools are required, and Progressive introduced us about Autodesk BIM and Autodesk Revit functionality. We did try-out Autodesk Revit and source the market for alternative solution. And we did finalize our decision with Autodesk Revit and the ease how Autodesk Revit can work with. The post- trainings and support we seek have given our team the confidence to work with Revit to develop our designs for the project.
