Project Goals

The client company had a goal to reduce the technical debt of managing users in Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle by providing partners with a self-service portal for user/role/location management.


The client customer and D3 worked together to design an automated solution for user creation, security assignment, user management, and license management processes within their Quality Assurance Platform (Fusion Lifecycle). The client customer accomplished this goal for user management and security assignments in Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle using Jitterbit and custom workspace development.

Business Outcome

The client customer, through engagement with D3 Technologies professional services, was able to automate user management within Fusion Lifecycle to mitigate non-value-added time associated with managing user security. They were then able to expand the scope of user management, as a direct result of the user management automation project to include license count management for each supplier.
