Autodesk Accreditation: CAD Masters is an Autodesk GOLD Partner, an Authorized Training Center, and a member of the Autodesk Developer Network. CMI has received Autodesk’s top award for Customer Loyalty multiple times. We specialize in AEC and GIS and assisted with development of past versions of Civil 3D. We have been instrumental in the development of new data models for various utilities for AutoCAD Map 3D, and we write our own applications for use in Autodesk Revit.
CAD Masters technical staff includes 4 Registered Professional Engineers and 7 Engineers-In-Training, all of whom hold a variety of Autodesk technical certifications. Not only do we sell and teach Autodesk software products, we regularly use them for design. We subcontract design projects from our clients, assist them with their projects in a training environment, and act as prime on many of our own design/build projects. Our practical engineering experience includes structural design, MEP systems design, substation modeling, water treatment facilities and industrial design, commercial site design, utility design, road design and rehabilitation, large pipelines, landfills, wetlands rehabilitation, and more. All of our design is completed using BIM technology.
CAD Masters is an Autodesk Authorized Training Center with facilities in Walnut Creek and Sacramento, CA. We also have several mobile training labs equipped with laptop computers fully loaded and configured with Autodesk technology. These can be brought to your location for training if preferred.
Solution Implementation: CMI’s varied background in all aspects of CAD systems, programs, and engineering gives us unique abilities to plan, implement, and support complex CAD initiatives. We understand not only the intricate details of hardware, software, and engineering, but also the relationships and interactions between them. We work with clients on all aspects of CAD Management from network and workstation hardware through end user training and support. We assist with all aspects of implementation from staff skills analysis through workflow and standardization. We have solved thousands of technical problems and when a problem could not be solved “off the shelf,” we’ve programmed applications to complete the client's workflow. We are ESRI and Oracle developers, giving us the expertise to link between and share data with all platforms.
Autodesk Specialized Partners are distinguished by their dynamic capacity, capabilities, proven customer success, and service delivery excellence. Specializations differentiate Autodesk partners based on their proven ability to deliver on desired customer outcomes through three tiers of achievement: Associate, Expert, and Master.
Partners that have achieved a Master Specialization badge have met the highest Autodesk standards of proven customer success and service delivery expertise within a given specialized Autodesk product group.

BIM Implementation and Custom Tool
Parametrix Desired to Implement BIM deliverables for their Water, Wastewater, and Process projects. They wanted to deliver data rich models to clients and communicate design intent clearly at all stages with accessible 3D models. Parametrix recognized that at the core, this would mean the implementation of Autodesk Revit, along with training and support.
Design Tool Standardization and Efficiency Improvements
BKF has more than 400 staff using Autodesk software with Civil 3D at the core. Across the company there were large variances in staff skills including: Civil 3D knowledge and best practices; awareness of and ability to use peripheral software (Infraworks, Vehicle Tracking, Raster Design, etc.); use of available customizations including custom programming and templates. Opportunity was seen to improve information sharing, reduce duplicated effort, and produce consistent results more efficiently.
