1. Management

These projects are aimed at helping you save time with increased efficiency and more control. 

Universal Header

With the universal header, you can more easily find what you're looking across Autodesk.com and Autodesk Knowledge Network. The universal search will bring you search results from Autodesk.com, AKN, or list where you can go within Account. The "Me Menu" in the top navigation gives you easy access to all your Account details across your Account, Profile and settings, and community.

Construction cloud products integration with Autodesk Account

Certain construction cloud collaboration products are now integrated with your team in Autodesk Account, allowing you to view assignments in you Autodesk Account to help you track and manage your subscriptions.

Guest User and all users in one list

You will have the option to tag users with an attribute indicating that they are a "guest". You will be able to toggle guest users appearing in your user list for easier user management. This guest attribute, or tag, can be turned on and off by admins under the settings for that user. This will be the first step towards giving you central visibility and control of all their users across Autodesk, both in account and in your user lists in BIM, Fusion, and more.

Better integration with our cloud collaboration products will allow you to create, assign and remove users and manage their permissions all in one list. (Limited first release with select products). 


Bulk Import to Assign Users

Instead of assigning users one at a time, admins can assign thousands of users via csv import.



Bulk Import to Invite Users

Upload a .csv file to add a large number of users at once. File size limit is 5,000 users for one import. For more than 5,000 users, upload multiple files.


One List of Subscriptions and Contracts

New simplified view to easily manage your subscriptions and contracts all on one page.




Single sign-on (Premium and Enterprise)

Enabling SSO can provide you better security controls and will allow your users to log in with their company credentials to access all our products and services. With SSO enabled, users will sign in with their company email, ex. “john.doe@acme.com”. Autodesk SSO will recognize your company domain (“acme.com”) and reroute the user to the company's company’s SSO login experience. Autodesk uses an Identity Provider (IdP) to authenticate a user against a company’s credentials, so when a user enter their Enterprise login and password correctly, the IdP sends back a confirmation to Autodesk SSO to authenticate and validate the user's identity.

Recent purchase tile

Easily download updates for the current version of your recently purchased products from the Home Page instead of going to Products & Services page.

2. Insights

We are constantly working to provide flexible control and insights, so you can better manage your users and business.

All Account Export

See all your data summarized with the added capability to export a full list of contracts and subscriptions, usage reporting, and a full list of teams, users, and assignments in xlsx or csv formats.

View and export product usage with user details (Premium)

See which individual users are using each product and version, and their frequency of use.



Are all seats assigned?

See which products are under-assigned on your Autodesk Account home so you can make the most of your investment and utilize all your seats (only visible if you have under-assigned products).



3. Download & Install

We are focused on making it easier for you to access our products and updates.

Multi-Product Deployment

Expanding our Deployment tool in Account to let you create a deployment for multiple products with Suites and Collections, and to deploy products to multiple computers from within Autodesk Account. Online Deployment Creation will support the ability to install multiple products in a single deployment. Customers can confidently install products in the proper sequence including prerequisites and add ons. (Limited first release with select products).


New single product deployment tool

Instead of downloading installer to set up deployment configuration, the cloud-based tool in Autodesk Account lets you configure custom deployment packages so you can download only what you need. Currently only available for Maya 2020, 3DSMax 2021, and VRED 2021 on Windows.


Add updates to your deployments

Choose which version you want to include and add updates to your deployments configured with the Autodesk Account deployment tool. For Windows only.

Universal Help Module

You will be able able to easily find and get help through the Universal Help Module, that will be located in the same location as it appears across Autodesk.com and more.


Active Directory Group Sync (Premium and Enterprise)

You will be able to connect your Active Directory with Autodesk Account and sync groups you’ve set up, so users are automatically added, and assigned or unassigned product access when they join or leave a group. 


Groups

All primary and secondary admins can benefit from the ability to organize users within their team into groups. Admins can organize users with similar roles into groups (like architects or designers) to easily assign the same products and permissions to all users in that group. 

Self-Service Team Management

Admins who need to separate the subscriptions and billing for each division of their organization will have the ability to create additional teams within their Autodesk Account (a capability that previously required assistance from Autodesk support). Most primary admins have one default team, but in some cases, admins may need to manage multiple divisions within their Autodesk Account. They may now do so by creating additional teams for each division of their organization--so they can separate subscriptions, usage data, and billing. Primary admins can create as many additional teams as they need within their account and can create groups within each team to further organize users and assignments.

We are constantly working to provide flexible control and insights, so you can better manage your users and business.

Inactive User Report (Premium)

Under the reporting tab, you can see a report shows which users have not used their assigned product(s) in the past 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. Inactive users are those who have not used their assigned product(s) in a specific timeframe. Use is counted when a user logs into the product application within a 24-hour period. 

Inactive User Insight (Premium)

Under the insights tab, see which users have not been active in the last 3 months to help manage product assignments.

3. Download & Install

We are focused on making it easier for you to access our products and updates.

Custom Install

You will be able to pre-configure installers for ease of creating customized product installations on a single computer (a feature that was previously only available to admins).

Save, edit, and manage deployments

Instead of managing deployments locally on your network, manage them in the cloud so you can create variations on deployments for different sets of users and save custom configurations for future deployment packages.

Media and entertainment cloud products integration with Autodesk Account

We are working to create a better integration with construction products, allowing you to view assignments in you Autodesk Account to help you track and manage your subscriptions. For those who had cloud product trials, you will now be able to seamlessly convert your trial account to a paid subscription all from within your Autodesk Account.

Bulk delete

Instead of deleting users one at a time, admins will have the option to bulk delete users all at once for easier user management.

Recommendations and insights

Get smart recommendations on how to best assign users, purchase licenses to help you work more quickly and efficiently in Autodesk Account.
