Modelers who undertake this module are probably experts in their profession, but working with a new software can be challenging. The training material is a reference book meant to help you along as you learn this tool called Alias. While the mathematics are the same, there are differences in the user interface, and that’s what this module aims to address.
This module takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:
- Have a grasp on the tools and UI settings in Alias
- Learn how Alias sets up usage of the mouse, keyboard, hotkeys and shortcuts
- Understand how typical workflows in ICEM Surf translate in Alias
- Become competent in creating Class A surfaces in Alias
