In this module, you will learn how to export a 2D representation of the simplified 3D view of the assembly. This process allows us to then utilize the facility layout within AutoCAD so that we can then plan the operations layout using Factory Design Utilities.

This module takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:

  • Understand the possible setup options when exporting to .dwg/.dxf
  • Export your 3D view as a .dwg/.dxf for use in AutoCAD
