MEP Electrical Design
The Revit MEP Electrical course covers concepts and processes used by lighting and electrical engineers in building design.
In this module, we are going to look at several important features of what makes a powerful lighting fixture family, including shared parameters, model geometry and photometric files.
In this module, we are going to review the basics of placing cable tray, add vertical cable tray and place cable tray and fittings horizontally on a wall. We are also modifying cable tray fittings to work in tight spaces.
The focus of this module is preparation of wiring diagrams for permit drawings. It starts with creating electrical circuits and then adding wires and annotation.
The focus of this module is Lighting Plans that are needed for permit drawings. They show the lights with tags, connections to switches, and schedules and legends that provide information about the lighting fixtures.
