Adjust reinforcing visibility - Exercise

It's important to be able to show our reinforcing unobscured. It’s also equally, if not more important, to control when to not show rebar. Follow along to check out these settings.

1. Open Revit then the file STRUCTURAL.RVT (or open any Revit project you are working in).
2. Open the Section 13.
3. Select the footing and the column.
4. On the View Panel, select the Section box, as shown below.
   
   
5. On the View Control Toolbar, set the Visibility Graphics to Wireframe.
6. Hold down the Ctrl key and select all the reinforcing, as shown below.
7. In the Properties, click the Edit button adjacent to the View Visibility States button.
   
   
8. Turn on View Unobstructed and View as Solid for the {3D} view.
   
   
9. Click OK.
10. Change the scale to ½"=1'-0".
11. Change the Visibility Graphics to Realistic.
