Displaying Options
Now it’s fun. Let’s look at how we can create views which will display our options!
If you haven't already in the previous exercise, download the dataset.
To display design options in Visibility Graphics, follow along.
- Open Revit.
- Open your architectural model.
- Right click on your default 3D view, and select Duplicate View > Duplicate:

Rename the new view to Red Roof Option.

Duplicate the view again and rename it to Flat Roof Option.

Open the Red Roof Option view.

Type VG for Visibility Graphics.

Go to the Design Options Tab.

Select Red Roof for the current option:

Click OK.

Open the Flat Roof Option view.

Type VG.
-
Change the Design Option to Flat Roof.

Click OK.

In the Project Browser, scroll down to Sheets (all).

Right-click on Sheets (all) and select New Sheet:
- Chose E1 30 x 42 Horizontal for the titleblock:

Open the Red Roof Option.

Click Section Box in the properties.

Crop the view so it looks like the figure below:

Repeat this for the Flat Roof Option.

Drag both 3D views on to your new sheet:
