Set up project data in the template

Configure the properties of the templates - Exercise

1. Start Civil 3D and select the Application menu and Open > Sheet Set.
   
   
   
   
2. Start Civil 3D open the Project 001.dst sheet set in the dataset folder.
   
   
   
   
3. Double-click the 1-C-100 Sheet, as shown in the Sheet Set Manager. This will open your sheet that is connected to your Sheet Set.
   
   
   
   
4. Name your Sheet Set file Project-001.
5. Type attedit at the command prompt and view the attributes within your company title block.
   
   
   
   
6. Add any new attributes you feel would be necessary for your project.
7. Right-click project 001 and select Properties.
   
   
   
   
8. We are now going to enter sheet custom fields and sheet set custom fields.
9. Select the Add button and we will add sheet custom properties.
   
   
   
   
10. Add Drawn by and make sure the radio button Sheet is checked.
11. Add Checked by using the same values.
12. Select OK and close this window.
    
    
    
    
13. Right-click Properties again and we are now going to enter Sheet Set Custom properties.
14. Add Client Name 1 and make sure the radio button has been changed to Sheet Set.
    
    
    
    
15. Continue adding Client Name 2 and 3 using the same properties.
16. Your Sheet Set properties are now complete.
    
    
    
    
17. Save your drawing and close your sheet set.
