BIM 360 Mobile
In this course, you learn the workflow for using the BIM 360 Mobile app on site in the online and offline modes. We start by downloading the BIM 360 Mobile app and performing design review on the tablet device using this app. Next, we create markups and issues using this app. Finally, we work with RFIs and checklists using the BIM 360 Mobile app.
The focus of this module is to learn how a construction process can be completed with minimum disruption. It is important not only to make the latest and greatest construction documents available onsite, but also to have the ability to perform a design review onsite. The BIM 360 App for mobile devices provides this functionality, giving field personnel the tools required to convey the site information back to the office and design teams. In this module, you learn how to download and install the BIM 360 app on a tablet device. You then log on to a BIM 360 project to access and review the data. Finally, you learn how to section the model and perform various types of measurements.
The focus of this course is for you to access the project on the mobile device, you then add markups based on the site information to the BIM data. You also create issues and notify the relevant team member of any disparity onsite. You then manage the issue resolution process between site and office using the mobile device or a PC. This course takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end of the course, you should be able to: Add Markups onsite using the BIM 360 Mobile App Create Issues onsite using the BIM 360 Mobile App Manage and Resolve Site Issues
For the BIM 360 Build Subscribers, the BIM 360 mobile app provides a number of additional functionalities. You create RFIs in the field using the specialized RFI tools. You then run various checklists, such as QA, Safety, Commissioning, and so on. Finally, for the non-conforming items, you can create issues straight from the checklist and then manage them like normal issues.
