Michelle Rasmussen

Michelle has over 20 years of experience in the AEC industry where she has worked for both government and private engineering firms as an engineering/GIS technician.
Michelle started training professionals on Autodesk products at Salt Lake Community College in 2000. She came to Autodesk in January 2019 from the Ascent division of Rand Worldwide where she developed curriculum for Autodesk customers in the Civil Engineering and construction space for nearly 13 years. Her books include multiple Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Navisworks, and BIM 360 training guides.
She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, is an Autodesk Certified Instructor and an Autodesk Certified Evaluator. Michelle has been acting as a mentor to Autodesk University instructors since the beginning of the mentoring program and has sat on the steering committee for that program for the last two years.
